Beverly Kay Gauwitz 72

Surviving are sisters Arletta J. Bare of Prairie du Sac WI, Audrey (Verlin) Kauffman of Grand Rapids MI, Gloria (Willie) Hakala of Lake Odessa, MI, and Sharon (Don) Britten of Lansing MI. Beverly was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa on July 29, 1964 and her sister Delores Zook. Beverly was a domestic housekeeper working for various homes in the Peoria area. She was a member of Germantown Hills Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and kitchen for many years. She was cared for by the Cheryl Leazenby and Lisa Lindow families. Services will be at 11:00am Saturday April 2, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Pastor Larry Lindow officiating. Visitation will be from 9am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to her church and or Emergency 116.
