Beverly "Boots" Fisher, 83, of Washington passed away unexpectedly, Thursday evening, February 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born, February 16, 1933 in Lily, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Milton and Minn Priem Berg. She married Gene A. Fisher on April 23, 1955 in Winlock, WA. Surviving are her husband, one daughter Debbie Fisher of Peoria; two sons Dan Fisher of Peoria and Denny (Dee) Fisher of West Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving are four grandchildren Daylee and Danette Fisher and Jace and Cameron Swietek. Further surviving are one sister Lois Logue of Phoenix, AZ and one brother Bill Berg of Long View, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Boots worked full time as a teacher for Woodruff High School for several years and later worked as a substitute teacher for District 150 for their various schools before retiring in 2003. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1209 Kingsbury Rd in Washington. Rev. Tom Heren will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2017 from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Further visitation will be one-half hour prior to her service Tuesday, at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials in her name may be given to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Our Savior Lutheran Church Choir, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
