Betty J. Hostetler

Betty J. Hostetler age 80 of Bloomington, Illinois passed away at 11:00pm Wednesday Jan. 15, 2014 at BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington. She was born March 22, 1933 in Shelbyville, Illinois to Ira and Velma (Ulrich) Hostetler. Surviving is her good friend Jean Lyle with whom she made her home, two sisters, Lela Stewart and Emma Hostetler both of Roanoke, IL. three brothers Roy (Ruth) Hostetler of Roanoke, Ray (Joanne) Hostetler of Eureka and Ken Hostetler of Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Arzelea Hostetler of Albany, OR. and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Two brothers, Milton and Lawrence Hostetler, one nephew John Stewart, two great nephews Jeremy Hostetler and Howard Kennell preceded her in death. Betty had worked as a assembler at Eureka Company for 28 years retiring in 1994 and was a member of Linn Mennonite Church in Roanoke. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Monday Jan. 20, 2014 at Linn Mennonite Church in Roanoke with Steve Ulrich officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm until 5pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel and also one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery.
