Bertha was born on September 21, 1915 in Springfield to Herman and Annie Elizabeth Reynolds Oger. She married Fred Rader in Springfield on January 8, 1944. Fred preceded her in death. Among those surviving is one daughter, Janet (DeWayne) Barton of Washington; two sons, Jim (Leona) Rader of Japan and John (Carol) Rader of Bettendorf, Iowa; one sister, Betty Ann (Robert) Alewelt of Springfield; two brothers, Thomas (Jean) Oger of Spring Hill, Florida and William (Marilyn) Oger of Vandalia; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Bertha had worked for Sangamo Electric in Springfield as an inspector prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. JohnA
