Bernadine Anna Fredericks

Bernadine Anna Fredericks of 216 West Partridge, Metamora, IL, passed away peacefully at age 97 at 6:32 am on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

She was born on July 6, 1929, in Metamora, IL, to Joseph and Ida (Gries) Marchand. She married Charles S. Fredericks on April 20, 1946, in Washington, IL. He passed away on April 11, 1994.

Surviving are her children, Suette Kelch of Washburn, IL, Charles (Drew) Fredericks of Morton, IL, Dennis (Sue) Fredericks of Washburn, IL, and Bob (Monica) Fredericks of Peoria, IL; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Paul Fredericks, and daughter, Marcia Spooner Newhouse.

Bernadine enjoyed listening to music and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Metamora.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Graveside Service for the Burial of Ashes will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Metamora, IL with Father David Kipfer officiating.
