Barbara "Bobbie" Wilkinson

Barbara J. "Bobbie" Wilkinson, 81, of East Peoria, passed away at 9:55pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 5, 1936 in Bloomington IL the daughter of the late Harry and Norma Witt Monkman. She married LeRoy "Gene" Wilkinson on February 8, 1953 at the Free Methodist Church in East Peoria and he passed away on December 20, 2009. One sister Joanne Davis and one sister in law Karen Rice also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons Randy (Shirley) Wilkinson of Peoria and Gregory Wilkinson of East Peoria; two daughters Vickie (Bob) Hale of East Peoria and Kimbra (Dwain) Sharp of Creve Coeur, IL. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; as well as 10 great grandchildren. Further surviving are one brother Harry (Barb) Monkman of Bloomington, IL, one sister in law Judy (Gene) Wyman of Kell, IL and one brother in law James (Cheryl) Rice of Salem, IL along with a host of extended family in the Bloomington, IL area.

Barb worked several years at Bob's IGA on Springfield, RD in East Peoria. She enjoyed many things in life, but her true happiness was spending time at their cabin in Northern Wisconsin with her family.
