Barbara J Tipsword, 73, of Bartonville passed away at 12:35 am, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka, IL. surrounded by the family.

Born July 10, 1948 to Premo and Betty (Ohm) Scariot in Peoria, IL.  She leaves behind two sons Joe (Wendy) Eppy of Bartonville, IL and Matt (Leslie) Eppy of Chillicothe, IL.  Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as two sisters and one brother.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

She worked AB Dick Nci in Morton and most recently as a CNA for Harbor Light Hospice in Peoria.  She loved caring for people was a friend to everyone she met and loved helping others. Her generous spirit and beautiful smile touched all who met her. While Barbara loved being a mom, she loved even more being a grandmother.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private family services will be held. Memorials memorials may be made to a trust fund established at CEFCU for the benefit of Barbara's pride and joy, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
