Barbara A. Peek age 65 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 7:34am Sunday Jan. 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois to Wendell and Betty Mae (Stewart) Oge. She married Everett L. Peek on March 13, 1968 in Pekin, Illinois and he survives. Surviving are two daughters, Betty (John) Wilkerson of Roanoke, IL., and Lola Peek of Metamora. Grandchildren, Scott, Margaret, and Sara Wilkerson and one great grandchild Jordynn Audi. Also surviving is her father of Dallas City, IL., and her sister Mary (Marvin) Scheirer of Metamora. She was preceded in death by her mother, and a sister Lola Yancey. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic church in rural Metamora. Cremation rites have been accorded.
