Barbara Jean Dooley, 77, of Washington, IL, formerly of Springfield, IL, left us while sleeping peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

She was born on April 10, 1944, in Columbia, MO, daughter of Frank and Nadine Stemmons.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Denise (Jeff) Neumann of Washington, IL and one son L.C. (Angela) Clay of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two brothers Carl Stemmons and Roger Stemmons both of Springfield, IL and two sisters Martha Stemmons of Springfield, IL and Juanita Clark of St. Louis, MO.  Her parents, four brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
