Barbara A. Crank

Barbara A. Crank, 83, of Bartonville, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was born on December 6, 1939, in Peoria, IL. Daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Hartwig) Lafeber. She married Richard A. Crank, Sr., on October 24, 1959 in Peoria.

Surviving are her daughters, Debbie (Bill) Schurr of Ft. Myers, FL, Molly (Tim) Schultz and one son, Richard (Patty) Crank, Jr., both of Bartonville; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Marty (Ron) Coleman of Peoria. Her parents, her husband, one daughter, Lori Boyer, three brothers Joe, Jerry and Bill Lafeber and one great-grandson preceded her in death.

Barbara worked for Better Banks, was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peoria and a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion.

Cremation rights have been accorded. A memorial mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peoria. A celebration of life will be held at Club Phoenix, 4206 W Pfeiffer Road, in Bartonville from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. As we remember and celebrate her life, we are reminded of the profound impact she had on those around her and the lasting memories she leaves behind.
