Barbara J. Darling, 71, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 7:12 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born on October 7, 1953, in Streator, IL, to Robert and Maxine (Gerjets) Combs. She married Joseph H. Darling on August 24, 1983 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph of East Peoria; children, Timothy (Karin) Doll of Washington, IL, Kiesha Darling of Metamora, IL, and Richard Darling of St. Louis, MO; and grandchildren, Cody Doll, Kylie Doll, Jaelan Costic, Karris Costic, Kira Costic, and Lauren Darling. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara was a retired medical records manager who had worked for OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, singing, reading, camping, and cooking. She loved family gatherings.
