Audrey J. Sauder

WASHINGTON?Audrey J. Sauder, 81, of Washington, passed away at 10:23 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Audrey was born in Bement, Illinois to Ivan and Georgia Danielson Carter. She married Gerald J. Sauder in Washington on July 28, 1950. Jerry passed away on February 14, 1996 in Peoria. Among those surviving is one daughter, Lisa (Harley) Utzinger of Peoria; one son, Scott Sauder of East Peoria; one sister, Barbara Boise of Peoria; one brother, Lloyd Carter of Peoria; four grandchildren, Nicole Michael, Scott Sauder, Jr., Chase Utzinger and David Bouton and three great grandchildren, Blake, Cole and Ava. Audrey was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. She also had been a member of Modern Woodmen of America and she loved to spend time in her garden, cherished the moments with her children and grandchildren (as well as her pet cats) and still find time to shop at almost any opportunity. Funeral services for Audrey will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, south of Washington. Visitation for Audrey will be on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials for Audrey may be directed to either American Diabetes Assn or Cancer Society.
