Arleta A. Schneider

Arleta A. Schneider, 74 of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away at 12:08pm Wednesday Feb. 13, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born Sept. 15, 1938 in Sheffield, Illinois to Arlie and Mona (Osbourne) Ingel. She married Ronald L. Schneider on June 22, 1957 in Peoria and he survives. Surviving are her children, Rhonda (Tim) Christianson of Germantown Hills, Rick (Cyndi) Schneider of Germantown Hills, Randy Schneider of Arlington, TX., Reneta (Bradey) Cox of Washington and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Andrew Christianson. Arleta enjoyed gardening, traveling, volunteering for Hospice and singing and was a member of Great Oaks Community Church in Germantown Hills. Arleta was a women of strong faith and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00pm Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 at Great Oaks Community Church with Pastor Chris Genders officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30pm until service time at the church. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
