Anthony David "Tony" Clement, 54, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 3:54 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

He was born on February 2, 1969, in Peoria, IL, to John A. and Dorothy E. (Diebold) Clement.

Surviving are his parents, John and Dorothy of Metamora; sisters, Tracy Kirkhove of Hopedale, IL and Cheryl (Terry) Fandel of Metamora; brother-in-law, Bob Hildebrant; nieces, Jaide Serres and Theresa Guelfo; nephews, Ryan Clement, Josh Fandel, and Zach Fandel; great-nephew, Zach Fandel; great-nieces, Lexi Serres and Cindy Lou Serres; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and sister Patricia Hildebrant.

Tony had worked in the janitorial department at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke and also worked as a stocker at the Roanoke IGA, Metamora IGA, and Shopco. He loved old music, especially from the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's with Chuck Berry, The Beach Boys, and Elvis Presley being some of his favorites.

He participated in Special Olympics for several years in the bowling events and the floor exercises events. Tony was a Power Ranger fan, loved watching pro-wrestling, and bowling. He loved The Three Stooges, all Hanna Barbera cartoons, especially Scooby-Doo, "Uncle Jesse" from Full House, D.C. and Marvel comics, especially Superman, Batman, and Spiderman, and the X-Men. He enjoyed doing chores around the house. He loved saying "Ayyy" just like The Fonz! Tony was asked to play on a bowling team and the team was losing until Tony threw a score of 241 and the team came back and won! He loved meeting and talking with people; no one was a stranger to Tony. Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
