Angela M. Nichols

Angela Marie Nichols, died on January 6, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest on January 3, 2015. She was born October 25, 1967 in Pekin. At one year of age, she was adopted by Warren and Naomi Nichols, Washington. She was a very energetic child with a love for animals. She graduated from Washington Community High School in 1986. While at WCHS she received her CNA training. She worked at several nursing homes and in private care. She was also employed as a cashier. Angela was married to Clint Vestal on January 6, 2009. He survives along with their five miniature pinschers. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister Martha (Howard) Rients, Towanda, her two brothers Brian (Melissa) Nichols and Peter(Kelli) Nichols, Washington. Her father in law, Bill Vestal, Creve Coeur, Brother in laws Billy (Tammy) Vestal, North Pekin, Derek (Kara) Vestal Bartonville and sister in law Laura Weatherington, Creve Coeur, Lynel (Tim) Weatherington, Pekin as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Angela enjoyed games of chance and loved to purchase lottery tickets and play bingo. Her wishes were to be an organ and tissue donor and that being accomplished, cremation rites were accorded. A Memorial service will be held Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Mason White Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob DeBolt officiating.
