Andy R. Cool

Andy R. Cool, 63, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. A Memorial Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Mason White Funeral Home in Washington.

Andy was born on May 16, 1959, in Peoria, a son of Edward and Evelyn (Schick) Cool. He married Cheryl Bell on May 9, 1987, in Peoria. She survives. He is also survived by his mother of Peoria; son, Mike (Lina Jones) Reagan of Peoria; brothers, Bruce (Linda) Cool of North Pekin and Chris (Robin) Cool of East Peoria; and grandchildren, Logan and Lexi Reagan. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Diane Fuller. Andy worked at Boley Tool and Machine Works for over 30 years as a machinist. He retired in October of 2022. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He collected NASCAR memorabilia and enjoyed going to races. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was his favorite driver. He also liked traveling, camping and bowling. Family was very important to Andy. His family said that even though he could sometimes be grumpy, he was usually happy and easy going. They are going to miss him very much.
