Alton "Kyle" Richardson

Alton "Kyle" Richardson, age 36, of Metamora, IL, formerly of Yorktown, VA, died on Saturday morning, May 21, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on April 5, 1980 in Clarksville, TN to Alton R. and Carolyn E. (Callis) Richardson and graduated from York High School in Yorktown, VA in 2000. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alfred and Carolyn Jackson of Metamora; his father and stepmother, Alton and Sera Richardson of Falls Church, VA; six siblings, Elana "Brooke" Richardson of Fairfax, VA, Meagan (Pete) Strachan of Aiken, SC, Marci (Pat) Howe of Peoria, Bryan Broskie of Metamora, Neal Broskie of Orlando, FL, and Ryan Richardson of Bristow, VA; three step-sisters, Chelsea (Parker) Loeush of Madison, NJ, Holly Jackson of Richmond, VA, and Rilee Jackson of Orlando, FL; one step-brother, Randy (Whitney) Broski of Orlando, FL; grandparents, Martha Sue Richardson of Clarksville, TN and Robert R. Callis of Metamora; nieces and nephews, Peter, Preston, Annabelle and Jocelynn; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Delmar Ross Richardson and grandmother Anna Jo Callis. Though confined to a wheelchair since birth, he was not confined in spirit, he lived life with compassion for all. Kyle lived and breathed sports and will forever be a York Falcon and Tennessee Volunteer. On Saturday morning at 2:30 am he finally took his first steps and walked through the gates of heaven. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Willow Hill Methodist Church in Germantown Hills with Reverend Ken Hogren officiating with visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22209.
