Allen G Kerr

Allen G. Kerr, 81, of Morton passed July 31, 2025. He was born May 5, 1944, to Ora and Dorothy Kerr. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and two brothers, Jack and Harry. He is survived by one son, Jeff, of Peoria; three sisters, Phyllis (Blaine) Sidle, Karen (Larry) Newman and Joyce Mayall; and many, many nieces and nephews. Allen was a Navy Veteran; he served four years in the 126th Armor Division. He was a Lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Tazewell Military Rites Team, TMRT, for many years serving his deceased brother and sister veterans. He retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service. Graveside services will be at the Fondulac Cemetery in the Veterans Plot on Saturday, August 16, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the VFW Post 2078.
