Alice A. Koehl

Alice A. Koehl, 67, of Washington passed away at 4:40am Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her residence with her husband by her side. She was born on September 10, 1948 in Peoria the daughter of Ezra J. and Mary E Thomas Hohulin. She married David E. Koehl on June 15, 1969 in Peoria. Surviving are her husband, their three children Derek (Christina Steidl) Koehl of Atlanta, GA; Mindy (Phil) Armour of Kilgore, TX and George (Tara) Koehl of Washington, IL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Kerany Koehl, Judah Armour, Victoria Koehl, Rachel Armour, Jessianne Koehl, John David Koehl and Veronica Koehl. Further surviving are one brother Richard (Lou) Hohulin of Arlington, TX, and two sisters Mary Hohulin of Washington, IL and Vera Wallin of Bloomington, IL along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Alice in death were her parents, three brothers and one sister. She was a member of Bethany Community Church in Washington where service will be held 10am Thursday, July 7, 2016 with Pastor Kent Kloter officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Additional visitation will be Thursday from 9am until her time of service at the church. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Bethany Community Church or to the Apostolic Christian Home for the handicapped.
