Agnes Smith, 90, of Metamora, IL, formerly of Peoria, IL, passed away at 11:50 pm on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born on December 8, 1929 in Peoria, IL to Alexander W. and Agnes (Stuart) Armour. She married Clarence H. Smith on May 10, 1980. He passed away on July 21, 2015.

Surviving are her step-son John Smith of Springfield, IL; granddaughter Tracey (Mike) Koenig of Metamora and grandson William (Patricia) Cotton III of Colorado; three step-grandchildren Kevin Smith, Keith (Tisha) Smith, and Jason (Terri) Smith; six great-grandchildren Josh (Crystal) Gordon, Kevin (Renee) Gordon, Jacob Cotton, Nick Gordon, Bryan Crandell, and Josie Koenig; seven step-great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son William L. Cotton, Jr., step-son Steven Smith, granddaughter Marcey Ann Cotton, sister Anna M. Armour, and brother Alex Armour.

Agnes retired from Fleming-Potter in Peoria after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star as well as a member of the American Legion in Bartonville, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside Burial of Ashes Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Snyder Village Residents in Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
