Adam J. Ellison

Adam J. Ellison, 24, of Spring Bay, IL, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away at 4:55 am on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his residence. He was born on March 5, 1996, in Peoria, IL, to Scott E. and Jennifer (Dinkins) Ellison.

Surviving are his son, Lucas Ellison at home; Lucas' mother, Samantha Schoon of Spring Bay; parents, Jennifer (Matthew) Ritterbusch of Peoria, Scott (Stacey) Ellison of Lacon, and Shane (Michelle) Hendrickson of Eureka; sisters, Ellise Anderson of Farmington, IL and Emelia Ritterbusch of Peoria; his grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Lucas Hendrickson and his great-grandparents.

Adam worked as a clerk in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart. He loved outdoor sports, talking about politics, and playing video games.

Memorial Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow with burial of ashes at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to an Educational Fund for his son Lucas Ellison at any Heartland Bank branch in care of Scott and Stacey Ellison.
