Warren C. Netherton

Warren C. Netherton, 92, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Chillicothe, IL passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, OH. He was born on January 16, 1924 in Centralia, IL. He married Bertha "Grace" Pisel. They were married for 67 years. Surviving are his wife Bertha of Cincinnati, OH; children Janet Netherton (the late Walter E., Jr.) Kling of Cincinnati, OH, Roger Dean Netherton of Rockford, IL, and Michael Warren (Laura) Netherton of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Zachary Walter Kling, Sarah Elizabeth Netherton, Rebecca Anne (Jorden) Netherton-Steffler, Andrew Michael Netherton, Haley Kathryn Netherton, and Matthew Michael Netherton; great-grandchildren Clark and Gavin Steffler; and sister Susan Marybelle Netherton Crank of Peoria, IL. Warren was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a lifelong baseball fan and saxophone player. He was a beloved husband and loving father who will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Lyall Sutton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roanoke City Cemetery, Roanoke, IL with military rites accorded.
