Victoria S. Pratt

Victoria Schneible Pratt, 89, of Metamora, IL, formerly of Akron, OH, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Snyder Village in Metamora, IL. Born on July 7, 1928 in Rome, New York, she was the daughter of Paul M. and Loretta (Boehnlein) Schneible. She married Stewart L. Pratt on March 16, 1968. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Victoria is survived by her sons Christopher Pratt of Chagrin Falls, OH and Andrew Pratt of California; daughter Amy (Robert) Dorcy of Metamora, IL; four grandchildren, Madeleine Dorcy, Emma Dorcy, Connor Pratt, and Ava Pratt; and sister Rose (Ed) Fenton of Charlottesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Paul M. Schneible, Jr., Laurence W. Schneible, and John Scott Schneible.

Victoria graduated from Rome Free Academy, Rome, NY in 1946 and Bryant College, Smithfield, RI in 1948. She worked at Revere Manufacturing in Rome. She enjoyed entertaining, playing cards, all needle crafts, and watching game shows. She was a devoted member of St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn, OH.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be held in the summer of 2018 at St. Peter's Cemetery in Rome, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
