Peter J. Ralser

Peter J. "Joe" Ralser age 77 of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born November 29, 1936 in Peoria to Raymond W. and Marcella (Stickelmaier) Ralser. He married Janet L. Grebner on April 4, 1959 in Metamora, Illinois and she survives. Surviving are his two children, Thomas Ralser of Smyrna, Georgia and Tama Ralser of Washington, Illinois. Also surviving is one brother Steven (Carol) Ralser of Bloomington, IL. His parents and brother Ronald Ralser preceded him in death. Joe was a life long plumber and a member of Plumber?s Local #63 in Peoria working for 42 years retiring in 1999 but stayed active by working for Morton Auto Auction. He enjoyed bowling and was a avid Chicago Cubs and Metamora Football Fan. Member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Lady of Sorrows Council #3060. Joe was also a member of Total Duck Hunting Club where he enjoyed his passion of hunting ducks and geese. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday April 23, 2014 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Neri Greskoviak officiating. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 5 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 with visitation to follow from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Mason Funeral Metamora Chapel.
