Jillanna Rentfro

July 12, 1979 — July 21, 2013

Jillanna Lynn Rentfro, aka as Jillybean to some of her friends went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18th, 2013. She passed unexpectedly at her home in Atlanta, IL after enduring more than 20 years of multiple autoimmune diseases, including Crohn's and diabetes. She turned 34 on July 12th, just 6 days earlier. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time. Jillanna was born on July 12th, 1979, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL, to Eliza(Beth) Margaret Butler (Rentfro) Oakes of Sikeston, MO, and Roger Allen Rentfro of Washington, IL. She is survived by two older sisters, Rachel Elizabeth Rentfro of Washington, IL and Melissa Suzanne Miller (Jade) of Aledo, IL; a stepbrother, Ryan Pfordresher of Washington, IL, and two grandmother's, Momaw Jerri and Grandma Fern. Her children were her furbabies and after being unable to continue to work because of illness she became a foster dog mom. She adored her 6 nieces and nephews who she called her "bugs," each having their own unique bug name. ShayLyn, Arianna, Jeremiah, Caleb, Joshua, Abigail and one great nephew, Koby. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who were a very integral part of her life. She leaves behind an enormous community of people who loved and admired her for her strong spirit and her own unique silliness and quick wit. She graduated from Washington Community High School and then the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center School of Radiography. She loved her job and was gifted at putting her patients at ease during their time with her. Her talents were many but she always had a smile and could make people laugh. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27th, at the Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington IL. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the service following at 4p.m. She would want those attending to wear bright happy colors and lots of sparkle. In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials be given to one of her favorite charities, Chris's Rescue Angels, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or Celiac Disease Foundation. We take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain but in the loving arms of Jesus. Rest in Peace darling girl. Online condolences to the family may be made at Jillanna?s website at masonfuneralhomes.com
