Jerry Krumwiede

Gerald "Jerry" Krumwiede, 64, of Washington passed away at 11:19pm Friday January 24, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 16, 1949 in Washington the son of George and Pauline Nelson Krumwiede. He married Carol Gerber on May 20, 1972 in Eureka, IL. Surviving are one son Jody "Jed" Krumwiede of Washington, one sister Toni (Lonnie) Cline of Washington as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and two great great nephews. Preceding Jerry in death were his parents, one infant brother Leslie W. Krumwiede, and one infant nephew David Cline. Jerry was an honorably discharged A US Army Veteran. He worked at Caterpillar tractor company for 30 years before his retirement in 2011. He then worked part time in the deli at the Washington Walmart. He loved spending time on the computer, was an avid Chicago Bears fan as well as an Avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was a very dedicated and loving father, brother uncle and will be missed by all. Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Jerry?s life will be announced at a later time. Memorials in his name may be given to TAPS.
