Dorothy K. Rebholz

Dorothy K. Rebholz, age 78, of Lowpoint, Illinois, passed away at 8:43 pm on Friday, April 18, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on January 24, 1936 to Theodore and Dorothy (Adams) Hardt. She married Richard M. Rebholz, Jr. on October 3, 1959 in Varna, Illinois. He survives. Also surviving is one brother, Franklin Hardt of Appleton, WI, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Allan Hardt and Thomas Hardt. Dorothy was a CNA working at Asta Care Center of Toluca. She was also cargiver for many years for Ruth Knoblauch. She enjoyed baking, cross-stitching and crocheting. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, Lowpoint, Illinois where she served as a deacon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Charles Buegel officiating with visitation from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after services with burial of ashes at a later date in Buckingham Cemetery, Washburn, Illinois.
