Charles E. Robertson

Charles E. "Chucky" Robertson Jr. age 56 of Bay View Gardens, Illinois passed away at 10:26pm Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 at OSF Medical Center in Peoria. He was born April 24, 1957 in Peoria to Charles E. and Shirley A. (Urban) Robertson Sr. He married Tammy S. Parham on Oct. 15, 1977 in Spring Bay and she survives. Surviving are his children Levi (Autumn) Robertson of Bay View Gardens, Sarah (Jason Brazeal) Robertson of Bay View Gardens. Grandchildren Madason Pursell, Jazmine Pursell, James Robertson, and Chyanne Robertson. Also surviving is his father of Ava MO., siblings Diane (Mike) Kaufmann, Terry (Dora) Robertson both of Bay View Gardens, Larry (Carla) Robertson of Spring Bay and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Christian and his mother Shirley. Chucky was a member of Spring Bay Fire Dept. for 28 years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar, woodworking, and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved going for car rides watching for wild life and spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2:00pm Sunday Oct. 6, 2013 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Rev. Dr. Joe Richard officiating. Visitation will be from 12noon until service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
