Bonnie Gaye Schlich

Bonnie Gaye Schlich, 74, of Toulon, IL, formerly of Metamora, IL, passed away at 9:39 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Arcadia Care Toulon.

She was born on July 9, 1950, in Peoria, IL, to Arthur J. and Evelyn R. (Sonnenberg) Schlich.

Surviving are her sisters, Kathleen (Dennis) McCullough of Metamora, IL and Aleecia (Jim) Stafford of Firestone, CO; brother, Thomas "Tom" (Sarah) Schlich of Peoria, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Arlene Asmussan.

Bonnie had worked in the clerical department at Kansas City Star. She loved her mission work with the El Salvador children.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Los Olivos CIS, P.O.
