Patricia A Willett

Patricia A. Willett, 84, of Washington, IL formerly of East Peoria, IL passed away at 1:12 am, Saturday, May 12, 2018, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on May 10, 1934 in Fancy Farm, KY the daughter of Joseph L. and Anna P. Burgess Hobbs.  She married Francis “Rudy” Willett on December 2, 1950 in Fancy Farm, KY.  He passed away on September 11, 2012 in Peoria. Her parents, one son Joseph, two brothers Harold and Johnny along with one sister Linda Medley also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter Diane (Alan) Frohlichstein of Morton Grove, IL. Also surviving are her daughter in law Mary Willett, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, one sister Sue (Noland) Pierceall, and one brother Gene (Shirley) Hobbs one brother in law Dale Medley along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a nutrition assistant at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 34 years, retiring in 2005. She cherished her job every day. Patricia loved music, being with family and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and will be missed by all that knew her.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A private memorial mass will be held at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in rural Metamora. Fr. Jeffery Small will celebrate. There will be no visitation. Inurnment of her remains will be at St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be given to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, 8630 N. State Route 91 Peoria, IL 61615.
