Pamela L. Lawless

Pamela Lawless, 70, a beloved mother, has gone home to be with our heavenly father and to reunite with her loved ones in heaven on December 1, 2018.

She entered this world on August 15, 1948 in Peoria, IL, born to Eugene (Popoe) Ford and Nancy Joanne (Momoe) Grant Ford.

Pamela is survived by her five children; Bryan Backes of Peoria, Chris (Mi'chal) Backes of Peoria, Dale Backes of Pekin, William "Shane" (Cortney) Myers of Washington and a daughter, Lisa (Raymond Shayne) Pankey of Peoria Heights. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a brother, Randy (Sharon) Ford of Chillicothe. She was proceeded in death by three brothers; Michael Ford of Washington, IL, Timothy Ford of Creve Coeur, IL and William P. Ford, who died at the age of 10, in Peoria, IL.

For most of her life she served as a homemaker but later became a caregiver. She was the least judgemental person and if you were in need of anything at all she would be the first person to come to your aid. Pamela loved her family and she loved her crafts. She is already sorely missed and life will not be the same without her.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held for her on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at BG's Karaoke Bar and Grill, 4202 W Pfeiffer Road in Bartonville, IL beginning at 2:00 pm.
