Nancy Harris

GERMANTOWN HILLS - Nancy M. Harris, 79, of Germantown Hills, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.  

Nancy was born October 27, 1938 in Athens, GA to Theodore Otha and Margerie (Lawley) McAbee.   Nancy accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior on June 5,1965, faithfully serving Him by her husband's side in his ministry.  

She loved reading her Bible, teaching Sunday School and Bible Studies.  She was an avid bowler and loved her exercise class at Curves.

She is survived by her husband, Derron "Dinky" Harris, her children, D. Smitherman, Christi (Kevin) Rose, Sarah “Juli” Harris, Amy (Dana) Pace, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, her sister, Charlotte McAbee Seabury, and many nieces and nephews.  Her parents and her brother, William Theodore Lawley preceded her in death.  

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00AM Saturday, October 6, 2018 at River Terrace Church 14429 N Edgewater Dr. Chillicothe, IL.
