Judi Wett

Judi Wett, 78, of Washington, IL formerly of Woodstock, IL passed away at 11:24am, Monday, September 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 1, 1939 in Crystal Lake, IL the daughter of Charles and Dagmar (Dalby) Swanson.  She married John K. Wett Sr. on August 29, 1959 in Crystal Lake.

Surviving are her husband, John, two sons, Michael (Robin) Wett of Aurora, IL and Stephen (Alana Mateling Flatley) Wett of Lake Villa, IL; two daughters Andrea (Tim) Brooks of Columbia, Mo and Jennifer (Brien) Friend of Washington, IL. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother Chester (Becky) Swanson of Random Lake, WI along with two sisters Cheryl and Sylvia. Her parents and one son John K. Wett Jr. preceded her in death.

Judi managed the cafeteria of St. Mary’s Grade School in Woodstock for 25 years retiring in 2000.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved nothing more than baking for her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her. 

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Graveside services will be 11:00AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at McHenry Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, IL.  Memorials in Judi’s name may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.  To share a memory or send a condolence for her family, visit www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
