Janet L. Talley

Janet Lynn Talley, 62, of Washington, IL went to be with the Lord at 8:25 pm Thursday, November 29, 2018.

Janet was born on January 30, 1956 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Wilma Eames Moulton. She married Toby Talley on September 21, 1990 in Pekin, IL.

Surviving are her husband, mother, and daughter, Kimberly Daniels, all of Washington, IL. Also surviving are her brother, Jim (Joyce) Moulton of Vancouver, Washington; two grandchildren, Logan and Tony Kelly Jr.; two great grandchildren, Elah and Bo Kelly, and several nieces and nephews. Janet was proceeded by her father and brother, Jeff Moulton.

Janet worked at Morton Terrace for 19 years as a CNA and was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington. Every year she enjoyed planting flowers around her home in the spring. She loved to go to yard sales and flee markets, collecting bluebirds, fishing, and vacationing in Wisconsin. Her love for animals was immense, especially for her cats and dogs.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that will be deeply missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be at First Baptist Church Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. There will be a visitation prior to her service from 10:00 until 10:45 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her church or the Talley family.
