James I. Stoller, 80, of Metamora, formerly of Varna, IL passed away at 8:37 am on Monday, July 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 2, 1938 in rural Woodford County, Eureka, IL to Clarence and Bessie (Fussner) Stoller. He was preceded in death by his father on June 5, 1998 and his mother on September 29, 2007. He married Marie Smyth on January 21, 1984 at Trinity Lutheran Church in LaRose, IL. She passed away on December 20, 2012 in Peoria.
Surviving are his sister Mary Ann (Kenneth) Cline of Warrenton, MO; one niece; one nephew; and several cousins.
Jimmy drove a truck for many years and was a member of Teamsters Local #179 in Pontiac, IL. He also worked in a machine shop in Varna for several years until retiring in 2003.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Dick Garber officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to his service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, IL.
