Harold Dean Bellman

Harold Dean Bellman, 82 of Roanoke, IL passed away at 12:04 am, Monday October 15, 2018 at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka, IL. 

Harold was born October 8, 1936 in Aldora, Missouri to John M. and Dorothy D. Bellman. He married Mary Smith on November 29, 1986, she preceded him in death on November 17, 2017. 

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie (John) Lindsey of Roanoke, IL; one son, Steve (Danette) Bellman of Secor, IL; and daughter Jan (Mark) Tol of Roanoke, IL. Also surviving are his grandchildren and their families, Jenny (Bryan) Willey of Roanoke, Victoria (Vlad) Novichenko of Cummings Georgia, Joshua (Michele) Tol of Roanoke, IL, Jacob (Abbey) Tol of Deer Creek, IL; great grandchildren Noah, Owen, and Eli Willey, Mila and Kaia Novichenko and Lauren Tol.  His parents; and one brother Herschel preceded him in death.

He loved his family deeply and was proud of each one. When asked his greatest accomplishments in life he said it would be his three children. He was an avid golfer and took great pride in hitting a hole in one. He drove semi-truck for 40 years and took great pride receiving many safe driving awards. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 19, 2018 at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL. Memorials can be made to Kaufman Park Golf Course.
