Donna Brown

Donna Joan Brown, 81, of Washington passed away at 4:00pm Friday November 23, 2018 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria.

Donna was born October 23, 1937 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Quincy, IL to William Russell and Jennie Lucille (Peterson) Hastings. She married Robert W. Brown in Hull, IL June 10, 1955. 
Donna is survived by 4 children: Michael (Marilyn) Brown of Eureka, Steven (Audrey) Brown of Metamora, Brenda (Mike) Roe of Rutledge, MO., Teresa Bohm of Washington. Also surviving are 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.

Donna attended Pike County IL schools and later worked and retired as a CNA from OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting. Donna cherished time with her family and loved her children above all else.  She had a wonderful loving, giving and caring spirit and will be missed by all that knew her.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00am Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.  Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service also at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at a later date at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to the American Lung Association.
